Maroc Lodge, a timeless story in the heart of Amizmiz

Our family’s connection with Amizmiz began in 1939, when my father, a visionary surgeon, fell in love with this peaceful village at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. He built two villas surrounded by a magnificent garden that still stands today, shaped by century old trees and breathtaking valley views.

Over the years, Maroc Lodge has grown into eight charming villas that preserve the spirit of those early days. The Lodge has welcomed artists, writers, and even His Majesty King Mohamed V, becoming a place of inspiration long before ecotourism existed.

Here, you will find warm authenticity, refined Moroccan decor, and a gentle atmosphere far from standard luxury. After a day exploring the Berber world and the surrounding mountains, relaxing in your villa or enjoying breakfast in the morning sun feels like pure happiness.

A swim in the pool overlooking the valley completes this unique experience, where nature, comfort, and history come together seamlessly.

Maroc Lodge is more than a stay. It is the beginning of your own story with Amizmiz.

You are warmly welcome.
